This is a tongue-in-cheek campaign. The big idea for the brand News.com.au is “the full spectrum of news” - to present a colourful or interesting view of the world at the news site, where you’ll everything from King Jung Un to Kim Kardashian, royal commission to royal weddings. Our brief is to find two stories on their site, and find an interesting link between them with headlines similarities or opposites, or it might be the visual that ties them together.
Then we also need to find a colour that represents each story. This job is a team work with a copywriter partner and also presented as a final ad of 2018. We received great compliment from the Creative Director and the Chief Creative Officer “some really nice fast thinking here”. Please note: This work is concept only.
(More live briefs work are coming in my book for M.J.Bale, Taronga Zoo and Sydney Brewery, so watch this space!).
